THE WASH SERIES

The Wash I - 30×30cm

The Wash II - 30×30cm

The Wash - 60×60cm

Acrylic. Framed in a natural wood floating frame.

Salt-Hewn
This series draws from the rugged coastline of Rottnest Island, where raw rock meets the relentless push of the Indian Ocean. In these abstracted seascapes, I explore the contrast between elemental power and fragile beauty.

If there’s a swell running at the West End of Wadjemup/Rottnest, it’s completely mesmerising. This series is called THE WASH—a surfing term—and I’ve tried to capture that wild turbulence and energy in paint.
