Diana Neggo likes nothing more than the thrill of discovery. She is a natural explorer and Art, in its many forms has provided rich pickings all through her life. Each encounter, each discovery brings something new to her own work. While living in Japan she studied the delicate art of Sumie, otherwise known as Japanese Brush Painting. It’s the fine brush strokes and careful attention to detail and tone that is reflected in her painting today.

She has sailed with her husband and cat for many years around Australia and SE Asia. A love of the ocean in all its moods and moments finds shape in beautiful seascapes. She now lives on five acres in the beautiful Ferguson Valley and practices her art from a studio overlooking a dam.

In recent years Diana has combined her wanderlust and artistic desire with workshops in the mountains of Portugal as well as a cultural immersion sketchbook tour of India. Each experience brings more depth and meaning to her impressionistic art work.

She was born in Perth Western Australia and completed her Bachelor of Art Degree in Victoria and went on to obtain a Diploma of Education.
